Four alternators are missing from stock, and nobody knows when they went.
When your business grows, you cannot watch everything yourself. FahsLink records who voided each report, who gave each discount, and whether the cash drawer matches the system at the end of the day. The record is kept, so it is there when you need it.
The system writes the record as the work happens. Staff cannot write it themselves.
Every discount and price change
The old price, the new price, and who changed it.
Every payment and refund
How it was paid, and which car it was for.
Every part taken from stock
Whether it was issued, returned or written off, what it cost, and which car it went to.
Every permission given
Who was given which permission, and who gave it.
Filter and export
Filter by person, day, car or amount. Export it for your accountant or your insurer.
Nobody can edit the record, including us.
The database itself refuses any change.
- No screen in the product can write to it. Only the system writes to it, as the work happens.
- A correction is added as a new line. Old lines are never changed.
- The name of the person who did the work is saved in the record, so it stays after they leave.
- Only the owner can read it. Managers cannot see it, because a manager can void a report.
Stock counts and cash counts
Counting and correcting the books are separate jobs, done by different people.
- Count a shelf, a category or the whole store, from a phone
- Each count is compared with what the system expects, and the difference is shown in riyals as well as in pieces
- Every line that does not match needs a reason before the count is applied
- Items that come up short in count after count. One count on its own cannot show this.
- Cash in the drawer is compared with what should be there, and card settlements are matched to the receipts
The record starts when your account opens
FahsLink records the trail for every business, whether or not it has bought this add-on. When you switch it on, you can see everything recorded since your account was created. So if something happened in March and you buy the add-on in June, you can still see March. Many people assume it only starts on the day they pay.
